The St. Johns Cultural Council administers several grant programs to provide funding for arts, culture and heritage activities in St. Johns County.
• St. Johns County Tourist Development Council Arts, Culture and Heritage Grants
These grants provide funding for activities that attract or enhance the experience of overnight visitors to St. Johns County. Offered annually, with funding available for programs occurring during the following fiscal year, which is October 1st through September 30th. • St. Johns Cultural Council State of the Arts Grants
This program is funded through the sale of "State of the Arts" license plates and is administered on an annual basis, with applications open during the month of September and awards announced in October. A list of current grantees and guidelines for the program, which includes awards of $1000 to $5000 for arts education and public art (including both visual art and performances) and is available to artists, schools, and organizations, may be found here.
